By David Taylor

In April students from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics traveled to Atlanta to participate as finalist in the Southeastern Hedge Fund Competition. Investment strategies were submitted anonymously and judged by managers from the Southeastern Hedge Fund Association (SEHFA). The students received first place and were awarded $10,000.  The goal of the competition was for students to learn investment strategies used by hedge fund managers.
